Wms Co Schools Common Restart Practices

Hello BCS Families

In collaboration with the Williams County Health Department, the guidance issued by the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Education, and the Governor’s office, along with consistency and unity from the Williams County school districts we have developed our back to school “restart” plans for the 2020-2021 school year.

You will note in this document (pdf document below) the common practices that will be administered by the Williams County Schools. Please take the time to review this information that will allow you and your student(s) to begin to prepare for the 2020-2021 school year. This plan sets the basis in which we will educate students upon our return in August. In the coming weeks you will be receiving a wealth of information related to specifics for Bryan City Schools. These specifics will include reference to the classroom set-ups in our facilities, to sanitizing station locations, to cafeteria protocols, to formats of open houses and registrations days, to arrival/dismissal processes, etc. All of these topics, and many more, are being reviewed and structured to help create the safest environment for our students and staff. Again, stay tuned in the coming weeks for this information.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to review this information and for your patience throughout the entire COVID pandemic. Information can change quickly and without notice so we will continue to keep you informed with the most up to date guidance. We look forward to communicating more and more information in the coming weeks that pertains specifically to Bryan City Schools and the safe restart of school.

Please continue to be safe and to enjoy the summer months! GO BEARS!!

Thank you,
Mark Rairigh
Superintendent
